Gameplay Mechanics

Players take on the role of Hen-House Harry, tasked with collecting twelve eggs scattered throughout each level within a limited timeframe. To enhance their score and temporarily halt the countdown timer, players can gather seeds. However, caution is required as these seeds attract patrolling ostriches, posing an additional challenge. Contact with an ostrich or falling through gaps will result in the loss of a life.

The game features well-structured levels composed of solid platforms, ladders, and moving lifts that ascend continuously. Players must navigate the lift dynamics wisely, as hitting the top of the screen can also lead to losing a life.

Initially, players will engage with eight distinct levels under the watchful eye of a giant cage-locked duck. Upon successfully completing all levels, players will encounter a second round devoid of hens, but they must now evade the aggressive duck that interacts independently from platform movements. Completing this sequence introduces a third round featuring both ostriches and the freed duck, followed by a fourth iteration with additional ostriches. The fifth playthrough escalates the challenge, as both enemies move at an increased speed. Completion of all forty levels leads players to 'level 41', which replicates the challenges of level 33.

Starting with five lives, players are granted an additional life upon progressing to each subsequent level, ensuring continuous engagement and challenge throughout their gaming experience.
